This new drone from DJI has a foldable design that makes it fit in the palm of your hand. However, just because it has a compact foldable design, DJI did not skimp on any features. It comes with a built-in 12MP camera capable of recording 4k video at 30fps and 1080p HD video at 96fps. It has obstacle avoidance, 3-axis camera stabilisation and uses the company’s new Occusync transmission technology — you can control the Drone from as far as 7km away with the controller. Like DJI’s other drones, the Mavic pro can be set to follow a subject (front, back or circle around), fly alongside or keep the camera focused on a subject while the drone flies anywhere. You can control the Mavic Pro using the compact remote control or with just your smartphone — this is the company’s first Drone that can be controlled via a smartphone app. The drone is priced at US$999 and is already available on the company website.
