Samsung SM-T385S with Android 7.0 gets WiFi certified

A new Samsung device has received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). Carrying a model number of SM-T385S, the device runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Here is the listing in question:

While the listing clearly mentions the device as a smartphone, given the model number, it could well be a tablet instead. In fact, the SM-T385S seems to be a variant of last year’s Galaxy Tab E 8.0, which was SM-T375.

Reports say a couple of other variants – SM-T385K and the SM-T385L – have also been certified by the WFA. Sadly, there’s currently no information on the specifications front.
