Alcatel launches X1 smartphone with Eye-D unlock system at Rs 15,999

NEW DELHI: Alcatel has quietly launched its latest X1 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 15,999, the smartphone is available on ecommerce websites like Amazon and Flipkart .

The Alcatel X1 features aluminium frame design and has the company’s Eye-D unlock system with eye-biometric support.

The smartphone has a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution protected with a layer of Dragontrail glass. The handset runs on Andorid 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The dual-sim smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The connectivity options of the device include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphne promises to offer Hi-Fi audio experience with Cirrus logic and Arkamys support and is backed by a 2,150 mAh battery.

 Recently, Alcatel launched the Pop Star smartphone in India at Rs 6,999. The smartphone runs Android Lollipop and sports a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution.
Alcatel Pop Star is a 4G-enabled smartphone powered by a 1GHz 64-bit quad core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB in-built storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 32GB capacity.
